  3. to keeping good employees is, simply, communication. This is the single most effective way for managers to impact employees' performance and attitude towards the organization. Your employees want to know how the company is doing and how their roles contribute to ensuring its success.

Always remember to give constructive feedback or rewards (usually in the form of praise) to employees who perform well. A simple "thank you" for doing a good job - one on one, in writing, or both, still goes a long way in motivating employees. Acknowledging an employee's achievements in a public forum such as a staff meeting is great for the individual's morale and motivational to others.
Provide a feedback forum to find out what your employees think is right or wrong with the company, and more importantly, be prepared to act on the information received.
To maximize retention of good employees, begin by being clear about what you expect from a good employee, and hire accordingly. Second, identify and articulate what's working (or not) in your employees' performance and be flexible enough to make accommodations for their growth. And third, keep the lines of communication open so that everyone in your staff feels empowered and invested in the success of the company.

  4. In this matter i will totally follow Google... I do believe that Google is one of the best in keeping their employees satisfied in every possible aspect...
first they know who to hire and they hire people that they know will do a great job at their destined place... Google does this and after they open heaven on the earth for their staff high salary, cheer ups, team work, feeling like you are a member of a large technological family that is just loving you more and more, great "parachute" system, great atmosphere to work and I agree with Oğuz simply communication is very important. All of the above is the way to KEEP GOOD EMPLOYEES to work for you and be happy and satisfied.

  5. It’s obvious that it’s not easy task to find good employees. So whenever you have them, you should strive to retain them, because good employees improve the productivity of the company, they boost sales and contribute a lot to the company’s reputation. However a lot of staff turnover takes place in the organization. Employees leave jobs because they are not satisfied and are unhappy.
In my opinion most important tips to keep good employees are following:
1)Give generous workers compensation – which means giving the excellent employees not only the regular salary but monthly perks – few occasional treats, concert tickets or other kind of rewards. It will show the employees that the boss appreciates them. It is human nature to want and to like being appreciated.
2)Establishing rapport with employees – I think that boss should treat his employees, as he wants to be treated. Boss should never abuse the employee because it will have a fatal outcome.
3)Give promotions- is very important factor in my mind. It’s widely acknowledged that an employee does not want to be on the bottom level forever. If the boss sees that the employee works hard to achieve success and to reach the top, the boss should help them achieve his goals, and the employee will have more motivation and will keep the hard-work.

  8. How to retain good employees? Well, motivation is one of the key factors that influence staff to keep and enjoy their occupation. But motivations for working differ from person to person. While searching through the internet I came across 4 ways of maintaining good staff: 1. Reinforce the rewards of working for the organization. These rewards include bonuses, perks, high salaries. 2. Listen to employees. Listening helps you respond to the most important employee concerns and provides insight on how people are feeling. 3. Be a strong leader. When leadership is visible, employees feel more connected with the company (in good times and bad, as well). They're more likely to feel valued and even willing to do extra work if a company needs. 4. Make the most of social media. Do employees want to hear about their pay increase in a "tweet" from their boss? Of course not. But, would new hires value a Facebook page that gives them a place to meet other new recruits to your company? Probably so. Social media will definitely help recruits to form rapport.

  9. Today it is very difficult to find good employees and it is even more difficult to keep them. The most important in my opinion is that staff should not think that this is the dead-end job, they must have perspective to be promoted. Wages must be relevant to the work they do. Also perks and remunerations are good way to motivate the employees. Secondly, rapport and good relationship between employees and managers has great impact while deciding leave the job or not, beside that is improves the quality of working. The last one but not for it’s importance is delegation ( assigning part of manager’s work and power to other workers) staff must feel that they have some power.

  11. Human resources are the most important resources in any company, so organizations mut be proactive and have the right strategy in order to keep emloyees motivated.
At first company executives should communicate with their employees, Employees appreciate being "in the know" and will contribute to improvements and future success. Once they understand the reasoning behind decisions, fears are alleviated and their energy is channeled into helping the organization reach its goals.
They should value individual contributions. Leaders must ensure that employees understand how their individual efforts contribute to the organization's overall strategy and direction. People want to be part of a winning team. Employees will take pride and be engaged in their work if they understand how their efforts impact the organization.
And provide training. It will ensure employees' productivity particularly, if they have assumed new responsibilities due to restructuring. Continuous learning is one of the best employee motivators.
For example, Wegmans company, a family-owned retailer with 37,000 eployees, works hard to retain employees by providing the training they need to be successful , respect their abilities challenge them to do their best and give them the power to satisfy customers. The company offers an excellent package of pay and benefits and it regularly surveys is employees to learn what they think of its policies and practices.

  13. Your dream of business ownership has come true. You have a name for your business, your products, your location, a business plan with which to manage and lots of customers. You have a really good stuff, but you’re under the fair, because you may suddenly loose it. So, how do you ensure the good ones will stay?
There are many reasons why employees leave their jobs. Common reasons for leaving are better pay from competitors, dislike for company culture or coworkers, few or little chances for advancement, a need for change, and dislike for the job in general. There will always be turnover, however it is important
that a company’s turnover rate is kept at a minimum.
if you want to keep good employees in your company you should foresee some key strategies:

    1. The person you select to work for your business should have a good reason for wanting to work with you, and it shouldn't be just the paycheck. Employees value other benefits such as flexible hours, a pleasant atmosphere, quality professional development and career potential. Find out what is most attractive to your workers about your business, and try to ensure that you can offer that benefit. It's the best way to retain good people.
    2. As in any relationship, communication is key. Keep your workers informed about what is going on with the company. Better communication will result in higher productivity and morale.
    3. Technology can help. Use email, voice mail and instant messaging to keep your employees informed. Set weekly or biweekly staff meetings to discuss issues in more depth and to offer time for feedback and input. Share challenges and successes, and invite ideas and complaints. Such meetings are particularly critical during business start-up. Things change quickly; keep your employees informed. Although some employee benefits are very expensive, good communication and the sense of belonging to a team are free.
    4. Remember that when someone — customer or employee — has an extremely positive or negative experience with your company, that person will tell others about it. Work to keep both groups happy, and business will improve. Should problems arise, deal with them quickly and decisively. Respond to compliments and resolve complaints immediately. Positive word of mouth can be a highly effective, yet inexpensive, marketing tool.
    5. Reward and compensate employees fairly. Compensation should be in the form of monetary increments, appreciation, and advancement. It takes more than a dollar amount to keep employees satisfied, but it is good practice to make sure that the wage you pay is competitive and reasonable.

  15. Keeping good stuff has always been an important issue, but in today’s business it is more pressing than ever before. Sometimes, to find people with the right skills for your business is easier than just keeping them. There are some factors that can encourage the staff and to keep them: Ensure that managers are skilled and effective leaders- most people don’t leave their job, they leave their manager. Provide a work environment that is productive and respectful. Offer flexible schedule adjustments showing respect for an employee trying to balance work and private life. Thank staff who have done a good job. Develop a staff incentive program. Consider rewards for length of service, sales, suggestions or ideas, safety, attendance and employee of the month. Train and review staff performance regularly and effectively- it will give them opportunities to develop skills and grow their careers within the organization.
Employee turnover refers to the proportion of employees who leave an organisation over a set period. There are times
when it is good to let employees go elsewhere. For example, if you have an employee that steals or is dishonest, it would be necessary to fire that person. If a worker is truly unhappy in your organization then it is better for the organization if they choose to leave.
